I agree to not press it, the knowledge just adds extra anxiety. And @PressTheButton!!!! , you would die from those activities, and see it instead. This repeats many times, increasing your anxiety because you"re about to die. And then you don't do it, don't see it, and the cycle restarts.

Gives you time to put your affairs together, die on your own terms, also image you get hit by a car, if your standing in a tall building, you get to see everyone"s faces for a split second before a car slams through a twelve story window only hitting you

There are no loopholes to this. If you try to avoid it, you don't know what to avoid; because you don't die from it. So it"s not your death. You could be careful, pressing the button or not. But pressing it just gives you extra anxiety.

It would be like that one movie, final destination, where no matter what you did you could not die until it was your time. They would get a fully loaded gun and attempt to kill themselves. The gun got jammed, but the second she pointed it away from her head it shot.
