Justin he DID. Capitalized the "A." That makes it a proper noun. I'm usually the first one to jump on the loophole boat but, it was specified as in the company through the use of capitalization. If the poster of this dilemma didn't capitalize Apple it would have been fruit. But he did.

It doesn't say you have to spend half of the said money everyday, it only says that you have to spend half of the said money. You could just buy a super expensive Apple product that costs $500 and auction it off for more money. It's totally worth it, no downside.
