You can just keep changing until you find one you like though. Also, just stick your head through to see what dimension it is, then go through or not depending on what you see.

You could use it for an emergency situation. For example, destruction of the world, war,etc. Also, it doesn't say you can't bring other people with you.

That is OK. You can go to any universe you like, eventually stumbling into a parallel universe at the same time, era, date and has the same law of philosophy BUT that universe could have no homework at the scools. Yep I am gping there. 😆

Do we get to choose the location of the rift’s exit point? Because if we can’t, then I can almost certainly guarantee you that the first rift you enter leads you to the vacuum of space.
