You could just buy a bunch of stocks or gold or something and then after the year is up sell it and live comfortably for the rest of your life.

Loophole:If you press the button multiple times, supposedly you would have more years to be a billionaire, making it so that if you want to live as a billionaire for the rest of your life, you just gotta press the button like 100 times
