A: The network we are running on would be destroyed when the sun goes all derp on us. B: If I'm an artificial intelligence, I could just either load my system with errors that crashes my system, breaking it. Or I could just "pull the plug".

Because then you will have things to go out the way you wanted it to be, and at the same time you can provide help... you probabbly can use the network to have your own world.

Since you can’t change anything nothing will happen and everything will be dull for octilions of years, and almost entirely afterwards, no matter how god like you are, this is more of a curse then a gift
