That"s actually pretty useful. If you want to sneek past someone, you wouldn't get caught, because they simply could not see you disappearing.

There is literally no purpose to invisibility under these circumstances. The only reason for invisibility is that people can't see you, but as soon as their eyes go over you, you won't be invisible! Its as if you aren't invisible at all.
