thats a paradox that would probably just put you back in time anyway. if the universe ends you cant exist yet are immortal and cant not exist

The universe doesn't just end.Eventually, New planets with life will be formed and you can help form a society on that planet.Also, you would be able to gather so much knowledge that you could be the best scientist ever.win-win

Float off to different universe. It never said this universe has a physical form after it ends (big freeze theory). It could just cease to exist. Therefore, leaving whoever pressed the button to drift to an alternate universe, possibly one where all of their favourite fictional characters exist.
