True, but racism could also refer to sapient species, not just sapient sub-species. You can’t argue against human supremacy by stating that “everyone has a little primate, insectoid, and telepathic sea slug in them”.

It doesn't mean you"re racist if you pressed the button, it just means you would rather have a lot of people live rather than a lot of people being able to go to a certain swimming pool. There are plenty of other things that helped black people get equal rights like the Harlem renaissance.
