It doesn't limit the emotion you will feel, you can have a good idea of what you saw by feeling the feelings. For example, think of a year and based on your emotions, you can see if it is going to be something good or bad

You have to keep in mind that not being able to do something is in itself a action. For example if going outside one day would kill you, you can just not move until it is safe.

That's not a bad idea. The only use anyone has thought of so far. Just have a habit to check every day or something. Otherwise it's very limited in it's use. But still no downside to pushing it.

As I am able to choose whether I want to or not I see no downside. This is one of the questions I don't understand why not everyone would press the button. You gain an ability and you can control it.
