If he will take it to the grave, what does it matter? It never said he would tell on his death bed, but it did say he would die without repeating the information. Either way, he would die and we wouldn't have the info.

As I am not a practitioner of medicine, I would be arrested if I did this. And because I knew the guy has many scientific advancements, I would not receive a light sentence. …Or, I can choose to not press the button, and none of this will happen in the first place.
