But they'll probably think they were dreaming of it, and if they ask you if you were dreaming it you can just write it off as crazy. Worse case scenario, they write it off as a bad or weird dream, best case, they'll be influenced to feel the same. If you miss the hit, they'll probably write it off.

Even without the downside I"d just use fictional characters of my own creation. Even if I did want to use real people, I'll just envision them but with one small detail changed, that way it"s not actually them, that way no one remembers anything except for me.
