No downside. I have a super modded nes controller that can change it's port so I can use it to multiple consoles and pc, and has all the buttons we need for hl3.

Doesn't seem that bad. 5 mins later, me: There's no LT RT TH OR LB. (including the back trigger buttons in the playstion controller)
