You could make yourself any character though right? so you would know the outcome and if you were an irrelevant character, it wouldn't much impact you.

I would just write myself as the protagonist, and I wouldn't die anywhere in the story. I would write myself as if I were fearless, and only have the story happen over the course of a few days, and then I could get through it easily.

Your making it so you would probably know how to survive your own story. Plus you can just write a happy fun rainbow land and you would still make a lot of money because it's still the best horror fiction ever

Well, it wouldn't be as scary since I'd already know what to expect at every part of the story. I'd just have to make sure it ended with the main character surviving. :)
