okay but like, isnt that always the case? And wouldn't people quickly learn to trust you if you always told the truth? Also never lying sucks, like I dont lie about important things, but like I do it to hide inconsequential, embarrassing things all the time.

Where"s the upside? You have to tell the truth on tests even when the tests want you to lie. You have to tell the truth to cops whenever you break an arbitrary law. You have to hurt people"s feelings for no reason. You can't keep people"s secrets as easily... [Show full comment]
