"You cannot buy anything for yourself" this also means that you can't give people money to buy stuff for you, because that is also spending money for yourself. So-called "loophole" is invalid.

No, it isn't. You give them the money, it is no longer yours to spend. You can ask them nicely to buy you something, just be sure to give it to someone else you know would oblige. It"s their money to spend, not yours, and they aren't obligated to do so. It"s completely their decision.
