well you can kill the creeper and prevent it from spawning by putting peaceful on which will ultimately remove the creeper

First off, The creeper won’t explode on the count of it being for enternaly, and even if it tried to kill me I could do the following: 1. KILL THE CREEP! 2. Scare it off with a cat. 3. Go into a world on CREATIVE mode.

The creeper is actually fine. It following me eternally means it won't explode. I might even keep it as a pet. THE THING IS, living in a minecraft world isn't exactly that much fun. You'll get extremely lonely and bored after a while. So no upsides here.
