This question is fuckin dumb. Become a time lord, and regenerate ten times? Currently, I'm not a time lord, and I cannot regenerate at all. There literally is no downside.

worth it. Time Lords take far longer to reach old age if they aren't getting themselves "Killed" all the time, so ten regens can last a long time.

I would just not get in trouble, plan my travels be very cautious, i will only let people that i know will listen to me with me, and i wouldn't travel too far back in time, never before i was born but i would travel to the future a lot, depending on how it looks.
