This is literally the trans experience. We get stabbed sometimes, sure, but there"s also the very real pain of being attacked and/or ostracized by your family. An instant button version would be way better, though.

Did they mean sex? Gender is mental, sex is physical.. And you can't 'switch' between genders - there are too many. Switching between sexes, however, makes more sense.
