If the Paradoxical Consequences are that bad, then this itself we be a disaster in history, allowing me to never make the decision to press said button, if the consequences are not bad, (or worse then our current universe in any case) then I get a free, and problem free universe, and no regrets.

those disasters happened with a reason and we learned from it, if i prevent them all we would be lazy and dumb. for example: after the titanic sank we realised we needed better maps,boats and more rescue boats on big ships etc.
