Being immortal is a downside in the first place! You will see all your loved ones die and you will never die even after the earth is gone. You will just be floating in space with nothing to do!

Gaboseries. Then they just have a condition where they havent got enough dopamine or other neurotransmittors.... if you can live with that: ok but good luck once you feel a little blue. That will come to you very heavy

Sounds like a movie plot where some old scraggly immortal guy hates everything, then he meets a little kid who gets picked on a lot, and as the movie progresses they eventually love life more and more.
