Logically pop-ups and ads can carry computer viruses so if you block and get rid of ads and pop-ups viruses are less likely to happen to mean the downside would be false

Don't do that. The antiviruses detect other antiviruses as viruses and they all attack each other. It"s very funny but slows your computer down alot
