You mean take away parts of everyone's culture? I know Latin is the base for several languages, but it's also reducing what they've developed. It's unnecessary, and it's unfair.

You are suppose to assume everyone just wakes up one day suddenly knowing Latin and only Latin, or a gradual shift to speaking only Latin begins. So you"d be fine
