No downside. I wouldn't like to be acknowledged for saving all of humanity from world hunger and wars.

Whoever didn't press the button is a heartless bastard.

Psykness3 years ago
If you end world hunger and war, the human population will exceed what the planet can support. Pressing the button dooms humanity.

But without those, wouldn't overpopulatin become a very big problem?

@Migdin1 …because a combination of the baby boomers and inflation drove house prices, pun unintended, through the roof, driving many people to be forced to rent. They can barely pay off their current payments (if they do), and children demand more fees. So...[Show full comment]

No downside. I like helping others, but I don't like getting attention for It. I think that the moment you know you'll be awarded for a good thing you do, it doesn't count as a god deed.

Aaron Cahoon12 years ago

i hate attention so *button is pressed* now we turn into that one parallel universe in SLIDERS where you enter the lottery and get a chance to die rich, but everyone gets money from the machine.

indeed Aaron along with all comunists and evil

I did not press it because of the 'upside'. I don't think the world is ready for no hunger because there would be a drastic population boom that could cause crippling overpopulation and resource destruction.

septiplieraway68 years ago
you will not have to deal with a mob of people coming to you and thanking you.

I don't care. Just to get rid of all those news stories telling me to donate for the hungry people

Darius Abend12 years ago
I mean obviously worth it, but still.. Why not add rape, abuse, and murder into that? The world wouldn't be 'perfect' without getting rid of every bad thing.

It would be funny, if they never find out who it was. That would be to my own amusement. Besides, ending world hunger and war would be its own reward. Besides...I like my privacy.

Pressing the button would create overpopulation due to the death rate dropping significantly. Overpopulation would just resume hunger and would cause wars to start up again due to lack of food, water, and places to live. So, really pressing the button give...[Show full comment]
