The loss of earth would cause massive change in the solar system and may even cause the downfall of mars. On top of that our space travel wouldn't develop fast enough to leave the system within 500 years. It sounds great but the risk is too high.

If earth exploded then unless we also had a permanent presence on a moon of Jupiter or Saturn we would be back to all our eggs in one basket when earth exploded unless we had gone interstellar by then.

Now we don’t know how long will Earth “last” so maybe more than 500 years. If we move to Mars, then we, as a very caring humanity, wreck and destroy that too like we do with Earth nowadays, then Earth surely explodes 500 years later. Does this make any sense? Not for me.

I would call everyone I know to tell everyone they know to tell everyone they know etc. Then everyone would move to Mars because if it was similar to Earth then I would have no problem plus we wouldn't have to worry about any states going under water anymore.

we got more land and nasa better think fast how to transport 7,000,000 people. marse would probily better because it is farther in the habitable zone for our sun. earth is on the very edge and will be burnt to a crisp in 1.78 billion years
