If you lose your vision completely, you'll be blind, glasses won't help.

this is when you go half an half. Deaf in one ear and blind in one eye. But your vision and hearing will be amazing in the other so it balances out.

Being blind seems appealing to me. And it states 'completely' meaning you won't see/hear anything at all. But it doesn't say forever which implicitly states that your sense would come back with time
