um, because of science and shit if you go into the past you could introduce a new kind of bacteria that could wipe out all of human existence, or by going into the future you could die of diseases in the future. so, either way I'm dead, works for me.

if you wanted to time travel then every time that you go to is the present, and since this present changes every time you travel there"s no downside
