my IQ is high enough to not put myself in potentially fatal situations. and if anything, I can spare ~10 points and still be above the "genius" mark, so, I'm good.

119 is only a couple points above average. A baby could have an IQ higher than an adult, because IQ is relative to your age. And I doubt you have an IQ average or above, because it is basic knowledge that you shouldn’t reveal your age on the internet unless you’re above 18.

Let's try this: repeatedly commit suicide until your IQ reaches zero, then continue into the negatives. As IQ is an absolute value, your intelligence will go up as you do so.

Let's do the math here. Fatal incident's would mean I am dead and my IQ dropped to 0. I will take a 1 point drop any day to a 100% drop.

I can imagine a person choosing to "kill" themselves over and over again for the hell of it. And eventually, his IQ would drop so low that he doesn't know what's fatal and what's not. Then he might get negative IQ. Does that mean your smart, or dumber than a rock?

I would take that chance. But if you are invincible and your supposed to die of old age at, about 90 years old, for every second your alive would you lose 1 IQ? Or every year your alive you will lose 1 IQ?

I pressed the button because i would just still live a normal life. Surviving a fatal thing but losing an IQ point is worth it. Besides that, Invincibility means not having to worry about paper cuts or Dismemberment. (not fatal, no iq lost)
