If I cured cancer, I'd end up dead like Mary Sherman (look her up if you don't know). They don't make profit off cures, they profit off treatment. If you cure the disease, the medial industry would lose a lot of customers, and hence a lot of money.

I'm sorry... but if Cancer was completely gone from this world, I would gladly sacrifice video games. There are plenty of other ways to keep entertained but not enough ways to prevent slow, painful death O_O
