No upside who wants to be immortal and for the people who do here are the downsides to being immortal:watching loved ones die,at a point you'll pretty much have done everything you can do and get bored,when existence ends you'll still be there doing nothing and more

The human brain can only contain enough information to be able to live for 150-170 years before it erases memories and codes to be able to aquire new which means you will just become braindead at 200years

Anything that has to relate to immortality, I always don't press the button. Why would you want to live forever? You'll be bored out of your mind until the end of time and you'll be stuck there forever.

hmmm. Take a shot every time a choice has immortality in it, take a double if they phrase as a good thing and you have a very good way to make things more interesting than seeing those choices in the first place.
