a perfect observer. Being unable to interact with anything or anyone cancels out the probability of causing a major redundancy or loops or butterfly effects or any paradox or any other effect that might interfere with your time line.
That's good. Don't want to change the fate of mankind, you know,

Your right become why if you interact with someone an thay slip and fall and die THAT MEANS THERES NO past or present for them

It doesn't change anything, things in the past have already happened, even if you do go back in time and step on a butterfly or kill someone or whatever it'll still lead to this exact moment because it's already happened.

but you didn't kill steve jobs because it hasn't happened. well i mean he is dead but you didn't kill him... i think.
i think of it as your observing it almost in another dimension, you can see everything going on, but you cant touch, feel, change, or do anything there, and nobody can see you
so you can go back in time and it would be basically like watching a movie?
i see no downside

Also imaging all the missing persons cases you could solve if you could witness events as they are happening. And no one could see you watching them. Yes you may witness some bad stuff. But you'll gather evedance to bring justice. I would happily take that mantel

That"s not much of a downside really. I get to basically see into the future or past. So what if I cant interact with it I'm gaining a new ability and losing nothing.
