Unless the x-ray vision is overlaid across my regular vision, it doesn't really do me much good to look at bones all the time. And food would be almost invisible. Anything soft would be.

but you realistically just see skeletons and weird colored everything nearby. you can't see anything as thin or thinner than skin. paint is impossible to tel the difference vs water.

What if I can't turn it off but i can control what i want to see and the sort of shade between skin and skeleton? Like, you put your xray vision to a level where it looks almost normal
