So the cure works 50% of the time. If it doesn't work then just use it again. Plus I'm already vulnerable to nearly every disease on the planet so yeah.

No matter how many times you try, there is never a full 100% guarantee the cure will work. However, it has a 99.9% chance of success after just ten tries.
