I will simply travel into the future to learn about their technology, and explain that technology to the people of the present, and do that over and over again until we are so technologically advanced we could either stop the end of the world or escape from it.

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect. But actually for a non-linear, non-subjective view point it's really more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly timey wimey... stuff.

Traveling back in time means you could stay in the place you want and if someone in your family dies then there would always be a replacement.

I can see well enough into the future to know how far to NOT go. I mean, as long as i don't go to whenever the world ends, it's fine to end that way. The only problem with this is if it is sometime in the next 100 years.
