It says superpowerS, meaning I get multiple powers, so I could get time manipulation and super duper luck, so then I could go back in time have my super duper luck affect my chances of being paralyzed because it would be a bad thing if I saw myself get paralyzed to the luck would negate it.

I would get willyoupressthebutton.com insurance, then press it. I owe the insurance company a few thousand if I get a superpower - enough that the average case scenario for them is profit.
