Where is the upside? If you were immortal you would have to watch everyone you know and love die and eventually when the world is destroyed you would be floating in endless space for all eternity

Yander-San It says immortal not indestructible so if you are still on earth when the sun becomes a red giant and devours it you don’t have to worry about anything because you would be still dead a long time ago.

If your immortal that doesn't mean your invincible or that you don't age. So after 200 years you probably won't be able to walk. And after about 100years your probably want to die

Immortality would suck. But I suppose it would be better if noone loves you because then you wouldn't become attached to mortals that would die while you live forever.
