You can live inside any video game that you want for as long as you want. You can also exit and leave the game but can't go inside a different game.

If you die in the video game or meet the requirements for a lose/defeat you will die in both real life and inside the game.

exit the game right before you die. and, you have all the same abilities like saving and reloading. if your about to die, go into your saves and load one

Bloodbourne it let's you respawn like nothing happened and you come back and there is no way to lose in it.
