Sounds like Jack Harkness. And he ends up being almost 5 billion years old. Everyone around him dies. And it doesn't seem like he is enjoying it. .... So I wouldn't press the button.

The downside is your family and friends will die you will then go insane then become Physopathic then after then you will repeat to try to kill yourself but never succeed after that you will then live for the rest of humanity and then float in space for the rest of life

The downside is that: it didn't say your age will stay the same, so you will age to an old man/woman, and just because you are immortal, doesn't mean you grow weaker like a normal human being who ages. The End.

I clearly did not think this through enough when I pressed this button. There will be a time when all that I have come to know will be far gone and I won't be able to end my life. It will drive me insane and I don't know what i will happen when I cross that sanity line too far.
