People don't seen to actualy get this question, you can ONLY go back in time, meaning you can't just do nothing and go forward in time like you would normally, you lose the ability to go forward in time like you do normally, ONLY backwards.

Technically if I travel back in time and dislike it there. The present time I once was in before I time travelled was in the past now meaning I can go back in time to what would be the present when I was about to time travel to the past I am in now.
