They aren't mutually exclusive so there's only a 25% chance of death - half of the time you become immortal and so the chance of death becomes irrelevant.

Even if you became immortal after the earth was gone due to *SOmething crazy like the sun consuming the moon and imploding and making mars fly around damaging planets etc* and you would just fly there in space with nothing to do.
