power to give myself more powers, then give myself the power to make it so every time a kid dies because of the downside, they get resurrected almost instantly and everyone forgets that they died

you don't have to use the ability, the downside only applies when using the ability, you don't have to use it, and having the ability just gives you more options, there's no real downside here

A 'kid' is a baby goat and I gotta admit , don't really care about goats except when it comes to dining on them and even then only when they're prepped by a chef experienced in working with goat flesh. That said I only want one power , I'll still eat goat anyway as the opportunities arise.
