As in I start out homeless? Because then I can work my way out of being homeless. Or being homeless just means I do not have a permanent residence which means I can be a traveler. See all of the world without fear of dying during the process.

Absolutely not. While I may not die, I would still obviously age. So as time goes by, I would get more and more limited. And imagine after a few hundred years when humans have gone extinct, imagine how lonely you would be for the rest of the ETERNITY

Just give your friend the money for the home, have them buy it . This way they "own" it, and your just living their temporarily. It"s not your own home
