But in the Pokémon reality, time doesn't really move as quickly. For Pokémon, all life goes through one of their years as like 30-50 of our years. So really, they"d live a pretty long time.

The thing is as fun as it sounds there are alot of dangerous Pokemon some can take your soul others can kidnap you one pokemon (cant remember its name) but once its lifespan is nearly over it will take the life of every thing on the planet in order to stay alive
