They would probably die anyway, and you wouldn't even know it"s your fault (unless your future self told you). You get a dead loved one and no time powers.

Life has higher than 10% chance of killing multiple people, even the ones you love. So ain't a real bane, first time warp would be to forward in time when loved ones would be dead anyway.
