If you think about it someone could just do cpr on you. I mean it"s not like it said you would drown each time. It didn't even mention it it only said drown so it might only happen once and then you get revived and you"re fine.

Don't you always drown when you enter the ocean anyway? It didn't necessarily say you got on a boat, nor tried to swim, but more likely saying "Ocean! Open your watery gates for my traverse across you!" and then plunged face first into the water, because you weren't a very smart pirate king.

This depends, are they like pirates as in they pirate movies? Do they steal stuff in general or is it just in the sea? When you say enter the ocean do you mean actually go swimming or just go on a boat or dock near it?
