For some magical reason, all electronic devices you personally operate consume no actual power from the grid or from batteries. They will function flawlessly without actually requiring a power supply, will never need to be charged, will cost nothing for the electricity bill, cannot power-throttle, be affected by blackouts or need a change of batteries.

You can no longer operate anything at all that uses natural gas for power or for (non-waste) heat. This includes certain boilers, clothes dryers, models of car, and anything else that does exist or will exist using natural gas.

I mean it would be a bit annoying not being able to use a lighter, but otherwise that would be a huge win for both my power bill and for the environment if the electricity doesn't have to be made in power plants.

I don't 'operate' a gas water heater , it operates itself.i operates a light switch though , I also operate the electronic thermostat to a gas powered furnace but not the furnace itself. The loophole on this question is too easy
