It would suck to be forever alone, but for the most part, living forever would grant you the ability to learn every science book out there and others. Eventually leading to you creating the opposite sex so you can reproduce again.

By the time the earth is destroyed you've probably already dealt with much pain and suffering to the point where it wouldn't bother you that much. Plus because you've already been alive for so long you'd prob also be fine with floating around space for a few millennia or so.
