No cause this is formulated horrobly, as it is you can go in any "event" in history, not period, and "WATCH IT" and nothing more, then go back and weke up after you lost a whole year of you're life, with probably a lot of aftereffect from the coma.

This one is a total yes, I would watch my birth, and my parents birth. And maybe stalk my friends from when they were younger and when I wake up from coma I would tell them all about their younger selves and then say “the coma gave me the power to see ones past”.

You already can view any point in history except for before there were cameras, even then you can see paintings and historical artifacts
