Firstly, it does not say anything about death. Secondly, Shadow of the Colossus does let you re-spawn. Thirdly and finally, THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!!!!

Love this game found the plot reasoning to be petty and selfish though what did those collosi ever do to anyone loved the challenge of fighting them but I hated ending the existence of something that would be friggin cool in real life

Well sounds fun, as long as I am nearly immortal like the guy from the game. I mean he drops from the head of 100 feet colossie (or even more, dont know the metric system), lands right on his head and is like: This could have ended badly, good thing I had no helmet!
