Technically, this would be what happens, because you can only see because light hits your eyes. If you were invisible, light wouldn't hit your eyes, it would just go through them, as you would translucent. So you would be blind.

No real downside to pressing, says you "can" meaning if you take it and never use it there is no downside. But handy should you ever need it...
