What's wrong with being a deaf/mute? I'm still alive and able to enjoy life and write my novels, so where's the downside? Seriously, what's with treating being deaf/mute like it's a bad thing? Such narrow-mindedness and bias!

I feel really awful about this. People are saying "What"s wrong with being deaf and mute? You are discriminating!" but there is obvouisly something wrong in thier faces that they just don't want to see!
